Congo Trip

The remaining team members have finally reached Katako Kombe, the site of the camp meeting project.  After putting up with delay after delay, the on-site work can finally begin.  All but three of the team, however, are leaving tomorrow to come back to the States for school.  Six of the team never made it to Katako Kombe, though they were able to help cut the timber for the tabernacle.

 We know that some plant, some water, and some reap the harvest, and we trust that the Lord will see this project to its completion.  Camp meeting will open at Katako on Wednesday, August 16th.  Please be in fervent prayer for the things that need to happen before then and for the people that will come and hear the Gospel of full salvation preached, many perhaps for the first time.  Roy Lauter (New Hope International Ministries) and Hubert Harriman (World Gospel Mission) are to leave Saturday to preach the camp meeting at Katako.  Please pray for their safety and smoothe traveling.
